Maikhao Dream Villa Resort & Spa

This place is perfect to let yourself fall and relax! We could forget everything for a while and just enjoy the time together. Even though this place would be also great for a big home party.

The Villa

We arrived and were overwhelmed. It was just like in a movie. Such a big pool just for the two of us and also a Jacuzzi?! It was really beautiful. The beds were comfortable and we slept like babies. Maybe it helped a little that we were relaxed from all day relaxing at the beach and pool. The Pool and the Jacuzzi are set cleaning.

In the villa is everything you need. It is built like a flat with 2 big bedrooms, in each a big bathroom with a shower and bathtub. And there was a nice open living that includes the kitchen. The kitchen hat a microwave, oven and a stove. They clean every day and also wash the dishes if you use something.

Hotel

The rest of the hotel is not big but what I can say everyone has their pool so there is not much more needed. If you feel like your private pool is not enough then there is a bigger public pool. I call it public because of it accessible for al hotel guests but in these three days, I never saw anyone inside that pool though. So if you feel really swimming the big pool is an option. Then there is the beach. It is so beautiful and also really empty. We enjoyed the sunset at the beach and it was so beautiful. Also here you see barely other people, maybe another couple walking at the beach.

Food

The breakfast was inclusive. There is a buffet with the most important things you need like toast, fruit, and juices. Besides the buffet, there is also a warm menu. I ate Pha Thai for breakfast…really the best thing to do! It was delicious. There were also hash browns, eggs in different styles, sausage and also sweet like pancakes.

Else the hotel had a restaurant and our best friend was the ROOM SERVICE! It was the same delicious food as in the restaurant. And there was no extra fee for the room service. I was afraid that the food will be expensive in this kind of hotel but I was surprised that the prices were really good. I mean sure it is not as cheap as on the street but it is not expensive and everything we ate was really tasty. They for sure also had fancier food like lobster and so on.

There is one supermarket close to the hotel you walk around 10 minutes to get there. You can buy snacks, drinks or your own ingredients to cook yourself.

Otherwise, there is not much around the hotel. You can’t do so much stuff there, so really a hotel to cut yourself off the trouble and just be. The hotel has its spa and I just can recommend it! We had a really good couple massage and I have to say the best massages I ever had were all in Thailand. So if you are ever in Thailand you have to get a massage there!

We felt like totally different human beings after this hotel. Relaxed and calm ( totally hard to imagine for some people that know us. Haha) This hotel was the perfect place to get away and just enjoy the togetherness.
