El Gouna is a beautiful place near Hurghada you drive maximum 45 minutes from Hurghada to El Gouna. You can just take a taxi and pay maximum 100 Egyptian pounds.
When you drive into El Gouna you pass a security control with the taxi. But you don’t have to do anything they just speak with the taxi driver and check the car fast. The best place to go out from the taxi is the marina. El Gouna is much different from Hurghada, it is kind of funny to see this two different worlds. It’s like the rich part of Egypt and the hotels there are really expensive but it is very beautiful. It’s made it a little bit like in Venice that everything is connected to water and you also can take a boat trough the canals. So the most people that live there have a boat, and this you see at the marina. There are so many boats but no little cute boats, no no it’s big expensive boats and when you walk by the boats you see that sometimes the boat owners make an exclusive party on their boat. El Gouna is much cleaner than Hurghada and finding a really nice restaurant is very simple! The town has one of the largest cable parks in the world and to be honest I was not there till now but I heard much of the park and for everyone who is interested in trying this should try it there. The location is beautiful and it looks amazing. The park includes a beach club, restaurant, playgrounds for children and swimming pools. For more information just check the website because they also have special events and parties! I promise to try it next time when I’m there! It is hard to find a taxi there but there but they have a really cute solution. Much of the streets in the city are smaller and that’s why they have Tuk Tuk there. The prices stand on every Tuk Tuk and they are okay, it’s more expensive than a taxi in Hurghada but still not expensive for real. If you need a Taxi from El Gouna back to Hurghada you should go to one of the main streets. A really nice thing in the city are all the swim clubs and private beaches! Like in Hurghada you pay entrance and a towel is included.

I love to remember the club 88. It was the first time my boyfriend tried on me! At this moment I could never imagine that he will be the one I want to spend the rest of my life with. Here I am the happiest person alive with him. Club 88 is a really nice location, the sun beds are comfortable, the pool is nice, food and drinks are good and the view is amazing! Really I felt so exclusive in this. It’s a really small area but most of the time empty so you have a nice privacy there. The entrance is around 150 Egyptian pounds so really not expensive. Food and drinks have also a good price. It’s perfect there to relax with some friends because they also play some music and we all really felt so relaxed after being there the whole day. So I really recommend this beach Club.
El Gouna is for me something special because it’s the place where my love story started. I found the love of my life in this town. I remember when I was there with two friends before and we made a boat tour with a guide. It was my last weekend in Egypt before I flew home after more than 6 months of work, so this city always had a special meaning for me. I am in love with El Gouna because it gave me many special moments and I wish for your stay exactly the same!
